Favorite Foto Friday- #35~" Friends"

This weeks FFF theme is friends. Gosh where do I start? I have many friends and I have to say I am very lucky. I have friends from college & sorority, friends from high school, friends from Memphis where I lived for 6 years & friends from work and past jobs. There is nothing better than that close friend you know you can say anything to ~from your most private moments, to the silliest comments and they still love you as a friend. About a year ago I had a change is some of my closest friends I had since high school. Their lives were different, we had changed & we had grown apart. I was sad, but God was watching out for me and sending me my angel. My friend Michele. She has been there for me everyday, we have had fun taking our girls on trips, swimming, playing, celebrating holidays, etc. She includes me and Madeline many nights in their family dinners. She was there to pick me up and made me realize what a great friend is. Then along came another angel ~ Shannon. I met Shannon at Michele's house at a birthday party. We clicked right away and I knew this was another one of those moments that this person would be part of my life. She has a great "ear" and makes me laugh all the time. So as the friendship as grown, we decided us girls needed a "girls weekend". We have planned a trip to JAMAICA in January 2009. It is very exciting to plan this and to know wherever you go with your friends you know it's going to be fun and full of laughs. All the of us work full time jobs and work hard raising our girls. Michele has 2 girls, 8 (almost 9), and 6 years old & Shannon has a little girl, 6 years old. I look forward to many more memories with these 2 special people in my life. They mean the world to me and I thank god everyday for my angels...my friends.

Wedding weekend!
Long time, no blogging. Life as been quite busy. I cannot believe I have missed 2 FFF (favorite foto friday) weeks in a row. I feel like I have neglected my blogging friends. When I sit down to my computer I get consumed with facebook now. I have found old friends and stay in touch with friends, family, new and old. It has been like a reunion of sorts. If you have never tried facebook, I recommend it! My link to my page is on the left on this blog.
We have had a busy 2 weeks and are also getting ready to head on our long awaited vacation. Its that time again we head down to Orlando Florida. My parents have a timeshare and we stay in the Marriott vacation club resort. We do head to Disney, but just for one day. This will be Madeline's 5th trip to Disney, so she is already talking about what she wants to ride and see first (can we say just a little spoiled LOL) We are very excited. Madeline loves the plane ride too.
I have posted some pictures from the past weekend. My cousin, Megan, got married! It was a fun time and a beautiful wedding. We had a great time just being together as a family. I hope everyone is enjoying the fall weather, except the last 3 days here has been in the mid 80's. Let's hope the chilly fall days are coming soon. I am looking forward to making warm chili and pumpkin bread. YUM.
