Welcome Home Cohen!

If you have been following my blog from the beginning-- I started this blog from getting inspiration from my friend Lori who was blogging here experience adopting a little boy named Cohen, from Guatemala. On my blog to the right there is a link to Lori & Robby's blog (journey to Guatemala). Todays post is to welcome home baby Cohen, and of course Lori and Robby. Lori has been in Guatemala 2 months and Robby 6 weeks waiting for the final paperwork to be completed. After a long 9 1/2 months he has finally made it to LOUISVILLE, KY and home for good!

I was able to be there at the airport upon last nights arrival at midnight. As they walked into the waiting area, tears filled everyones eyes. What a happy moment for their family! Cohen was amazing. Here it was midnight (10pm Guatemala time), a long day of traveling--- with a layover in Atlanta, and this little boy was smiling away and hamming it up for the crowd that awaited him. He kept wanting to walk and just take off. In no time this boy will be running around ,with Lori and Robby having to chase him. He is so precious, smiles constantly, and is so laid back. The crowd of us at the airport stood there just watching his every move unitl after 1am!

If you get the chance, click on the link to the right and read and see more pictures of his homecoming. Please say a prayer for all of the children waiting to be adopted or in the process of being adopted that they come home soon. Again, welcome home Cohen!

Thank you so much for being there at the airport with us to celebrate Cohen's homecoming. It was such a special day we will never forget.

And thank you for the muffins -- we were starving this morning and they were just delicious!!!
