The BIG Snow....

As many of you all have seen, Louisville ,Kentucky was hit with lots of snow. Following is part of a paragraph from the headlines on AOL.......

"As much as 10 inches of snow fell overnight in Ohio, where up to 5 more inches was possible, and 13 inches fell on north-central Kentucky's Owen County, the National Weather Service said. Middle Tennessee got up to a foot. Louisville, Ky., had 11 inches to shovel and plow. Up to a foot was possible by Sunday in western New York, meteorologists said. Even Mississippi got 5 to 7 inches of snow in northern parts of the state, the weather service said.

Today, March 8th, 2008...who would have thought we would have snow now......
Madeline had her hula hoop outside. We were trying to determine the depth in some places....
She got a little stuck at times just trying to walk. The snow would come up over her knees in most places.
This is a snow drift over 4 feet high. Many places around the condo had these big areas with the snow blowing off the roof.

Madeline getting ready to head outside. She was so excited about wearing her boots.
Cheese.....hurry mommy, its windy out here.
A view of our condo and the fresh, white pretty snow...thats our porch.
Madeline thought it was very funny to throw snow balls at me.....by the time I came in I was covered in snow. She thought it was funny.
Madeline making her way to the condo. It was so funny to watch her try and walk with the snow being over a foot deep. I still cannot believe we got so much. We tried building a snowman , but the snow was just too deep and hard to get started. We hope to go back out tomorrow and build one. Madeline was also wanted to make snow angels. I told her today that if she tried she would be buried in snow.
If you would like to see more pictures, click on the link below. I took too many to post here.
