"Snow-Woman"

The snow here in Louisville has finally started to melt, so we were able to get out and build our snowman, or as we say, snow-woman. The first day the snow fell (see previous post) we had over a foot of snow. The snow was too deep to build anything, or even walk in the snow. So we waited until some snow melte to get out and play. What was amazing about this snow was that it snowed friday afternoon unil Saturday afternoon, dropping 12-15 inches of snow. Then the sun came out, it warmed up a little, and as of today, Wednesday....March 12th, its almost all gone. The only thing left are the mounds of snow plowed in the parking lots. But we had our fun and thats all that counts. I can say most people in Louisville are now ready for Spring to arrive. Below are the pictures of our princess snow-woman. As you can see it warmed up quite a bit to play outside in a dress and leggings, and of course the boots. Since we bought the boots, Madeline has worn them everyday--even to school. She takes her change of shoes so she can still run in the afternoon in the playroom.

Our snow-woman....cheese!
A kiss for my new friend...
A moment in the snow & sunset
Madeline holding hands with her new friend.
Mommy, my cheek is cold, hurry, take the picture....

Hurry up spring!
